UTM recently has lunched one of the video web base sharing to public known as UTM Motion. This was lunched on April 2010 by Vice Chancellor during monthly assembly at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM JB. This project is one of innovation project by Center of Teaching and Learning (CTL) in collaboration with Center of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) in which the purpose is to support the e-learning program on teaching and learning among students and academician. But do not worry, you can still upload the video of you playing a guitar inside your room, as long as you not brake the UTM Motion terms.
Same as Youtube, public also can watch all of the video on the web site, but need to register as user to share any video on it. Moreover, you can still share the video to your blog, facebook, friendster, web, etc plus download the video which one you like.Much more, you also can create your own profile, groups, give comments, add to your playlist and also classifies your video whether to view on public or private.- interesting right?
Inside this web, there are eight channels provided to viewer and also user which are:
1. Teaching & learning
2. Research & development
3. Library resources
4. University events
5. University on press
6. ZOOM UTM
7. Students activities; and
8. Creative work.
